THE INTERVIEWS

 
Eric was interviewed in California, probably home.
He was open and relaxed and talked about many things...
..and really got into what he had to say.
Sometimes, Eric had this vintage ol' mischievious laugh...
...but, more often, they were half-laughs, dreamy or skeptical...
...even weary. Like slight hiccups. I was struck by this.
And this is how he reacted when asked about Michael cancelling the tour.
He was back later in the evening...
in a much pinker mood.
He picked up his guitar and sang. It was a magical moment.
He sang "Galaxy song" with concentration...
...like an old buccaneer with the sky in his eyes.
...is there to be...
He sang with tenderness...
He sang in glee...
...wonderfully getting his kicks out of the music he made...
...and occasionally getting silly, twitsting his mouth like John Wayne.
That's his thing. That's what he wants to do now. Monty Python...
